Our Mini Vinnies

Our Mini Vinnies are a group of our children who put their faith into action. They give support to people in our local and global community, meeting them face to face and trying to reach out and help them in any way they can.

Pope Francis tells us to, "Be concerned in a spiritual way for education. Where young minds and hearts are shaped in love for the Lord and his Church, in the good, the true and the beautiful".  The Society of St Vincent de Paul has been engaging with young people and education since its earliest days. Today the SVP England and Wales is pleased to highlight its continuing strong links with young people, through the development of its  'Mini Vinnies' programme. Here at St Cuthbert’s our Mini Vinnies significantly contribute to the future of our Society."

Our Mini Vinnies are children aged between 7 to 11  who, with the support of their families and  the support of our parish community, are encouraged to embark on their first steps as possible 'Vincentians for life. Our children make a positive difference to our community.
