St. Cuthbert's is a one form entry Catholic primary school in the heart of North Shields. We have been here for over one hundred years and we have had a presence in the North Shields community since the 1850s. We are part of a very strong and welcoming community and we are open to all children and families regardless of faith. You don't have to be Catholic to be part of our St. Cuthbert's family and our values are so universal that families of all faiths and none feel at home with us and very much part of what we do. We strongly believe that children learn and achieve best when their learning is given real purpose and they are part of planning, leading and assessing it. They achieve best when they have what they need to learn and when they feel they are an important part of a community. At St. Cuthbert's we continually work with families and partners across the whole curriculum to give our children the best possible learning experiences we can give them and hopefully our website gives you a little flavour of who we are and what we do.
